For 30 some years, Steve has spent his day-to-day existence with one of the most elusive, charismatic and misunderstood animals of the world: the Wolverine.

At the present time, as far as anyone knows, Steve is the last human being on earth with imprinted wolverines that are able to be handled, released, trained and presented to the public at extremely close range tethered or untethered. Even Wikipedia mentions him on the wolverine subject page.

Steve grew up with these rare northern animals in his life, and consistently brought them to public attention. Through feature films, and over a dozen documentaries, as well as numerous appearances on network television, Steve's efforts to help spotlight this fabled creature, that is so symbolic of untouched and unspoiled wilderness splendor has paid off.

Interest and education and serious biological research about wolverines is at an all time high, and rightly so. It is now a race against time to begin to understand an animal that is the litmus test for a clean planet, before it vanishes forever.
